ISO/ TC 323 2nd Plenary and Working Group 1-4 Virtual Meetings hosted by Paris, 15 - 19 June 2020

The International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee 323 Circular Economy meetings were held on 15-19 June 2020 with over 200 participants from 79 countries, including Singapore. It is a 3-year journey forward for consensus to be reached amongst 200 nominated experts on the development of circular economy stardards ISO/PWI 59004, 59020, 59010 and TR 59031. Nevertheless, the transition from linear to circular is the way to go forward to decouple economic growth from our consumption of the Earth's natural resources and from generating negative environment and social externalities
